Chihiro Gompei (b.1985) lives and works in Tokyo. She works with a range of different media including sculpture, textiles, and moving images investigating the sense of belonging and its relation to history and everyday objects. She received her master’s degree in Mixed Media Textiles from the Royal College of Art in 2016.
